It’s being designed for fresh and salt water. Like any marine gear, rinse and care after saltwater use — full care instructions come with the production model.

It varies by location. Adding a motor can make a paddleboard count as a motorized vessel, which may mean registration or safety-equipment requirements. We’ll share general guidance before launch; every rider is responsible for local rules.
